Featuring the work of 30 of Tokyo’s most talented contemporary artists, the exhibition presents a carefully curated selection of outstanding artworks spanning painting, illustration, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, and more. Each artist will unveil some of their finest and most recent creations, many inspired by the beauty, energy, and atmosphere of Tokyo during the summer season.

Tokyo Game Bridge × Tokyo Art Tank
“Play works from the Tokyo Game Bridge community, meet the creators, and join casual discussion around how games create emotional, social, and artistic experiences unique to the medium.” Matthew Moss TGB Founder
Tokyo Game Bridge (TGB) is about creativity, connection and innovation through games and game development. As a medium, games are further examined as the kind of work we usually associate with fine art, not because they “look like art,” but because they’re built from the same components: visual design, sound, animation, and intentional experience design.
For Tokyo Art Tank, we’re bringing games and the creativity involved and a few TGB members for a focused play session and dialogue. The point is to engage with games the way you’d engage with any strong creative work: play, observe, discuss.
Games are one of the most engaging ways to test ideas, systems, and perspectives while still being fun. That’s the energy we’re bringing to Tokyo Art Tank: thoughtful play, sharp conversation, and a chance to connect with other people building creative experiences.

Tokyo Art Tank Vol. 16 proudly presents Tokyo Indie Film Night, a special evening celebrating independent cinema, creative storytelling, and the vibrant filmmaking community of Tokyo.
Curated, organized, and hosted by Tokyo's own filmmaking powerhouse Nick Rock, this unique event brings together directors, actors, producers, and film enthusiasts for an inspiring night dedicated to bold voices and original visions from the city's independent film scene.
Experience an exciting lineup of films created in Tokyo, about Tokyo, and by Tokyo-based filmmakers. From thought-provoking documentaries to compelling narratives, each work offers a distinctive perspective on the culture, creativity, and energy that make Tokyo such an extraordinary place to create.
More than just a screening event, Tokyo Indie Film Night is a gathering of creatives, a place to share ideas, celebrate artistic achievement, and build new connections within the community.
Each filmmaker will introduce their work in person, followed by an engaging Q&A session exploring both the creative inspiration behind the films and the practical techniques used to bring them to life.

本イベントは、東京を拠点に活躍する映画界のパワーハウス、ニック・ロック が企画・主催・司会を務める、一夜限りのスペシャル上映会です。
映画監督、俳優、プロデューサー、そして映画を愛するすべての人々が集い、東京のインディペンデント映画シーンを彩る才能豊かなクリエイターたちの作品をお楽しみいただけます。
東京で制作され、東京を舞台とし、東京を拠点に活動する映画制作者たちによる作品を上映。ドキュメンタリーからオリジナルの物語作品まで、東京という都市が持つ文化、創造性、そしてエネルギーを映し出す魅力的な作品群をご紹介します。
